This Mediterranean-style villa, next to a golf course, badly needed wasted spaces reorganising. The parking area was remodelled, gaining space by levelling the ground and creating new raised beds. The drawback of the front garden was highly uneven ground and the passage of a small walkway into the garden. The area nearest to the house’s terrace was also levelled off, creating a large space with artificial grass – not that we are lovers of it, but it can come off better than expected as part of a good design and it has the great benefit of low maintenance and water saving. A bridge was put in place to cross the fake river, creating a space with gravel paths, keeping the more special native plants and ending up with a space where views of the golf course, with the sea and mountains far off in the background, can be enjoyed.
